NEW YORK – A shoddy defensive game, with four errors Wednesday night, cost the Yankees a series win against the first place Blue Jays earlier this week.

Coming off that forgettable game, and an off day on Thursday, the Yankees host the formidable Philadelphia Phillies for a three-game set beginning Friday night at Yankee Stadium.
