KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A rained-out game means a doubleheader for the Kansas City Royals over the weekend.
The Kansas City Royals announced on Friday evening that the team’s game against the Guardians had been postponed. It is expected to be made up during a 2-admission doubleheader on Saturday instead.
Organization leaders indicated that Saturday’s game will still begin at 6:15 p.m. The postponed game will begin at 1:40 p.m.
The Royals noted that the 1:40 p.m. game will air on FanDuel Sports Network while the later game will air nationally on FOX.
Club leaders said tickets for Friday’s game will still be honored for the rescheduled game on Saturday. Fans will not have to exchange original tickets if they choose to attend the rescheduled game.
According to the Royals, the Grateful Dead Night promotion will only take place during the 1:40 p.m. game. The Flo Rida postgame concert will be held at the end of the second game.
