The Milwaukee Brewers, the hottest team in baseball, will look to continue their winning ways as they take on the Miami Marlins in a three-game weekend series July 25-27 at American Family Field.

The Brewers are coming off a 5-1 trip out west in which they swept the Los Angeles Dodgers for the second time in less than two weeks before their 11-game winning streak was snapped by the Seattle Mariners.

Milwaukee started that winning streak in Miami behind a memorable performance by pitcher Brandon Woodruff, who returned for the first time in nearly two years and led the Brewers to a 3-1 win July 6.

After starting the season 21-25, the Brewers have surged to the best record in baseball at 61-41, a half-game better than the Toronto Blue Jays and one game better than their NL Central Division rivals, the Chicago Cubs.

The Marlins, who could be sellers at the looming MLB trade deadline, enter the series 48-53.

The Friday, July 25, game also will be a celebration of 25 years at American Family Field, with lots of Brewers alums on hand and an alumni home run derby after the game.
