NFL on CBS game analyst J.J. Watt accomplished some truly spectacular feats during his 12-year run in the NFL. But perhaps his greatest feat, or at the very least his most ridiculous feat, may have just come during Friday’s game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Miami Marlins from American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Watt was celebrated to start Friday’s game, getting a big pop from the home crowd in Milwaukee after throwing out the first pitch, which obviously makes sense given he is from Wisconsin and played his collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin.
The definition of a Wisconsin Sports Legend 💪

After throwing out the first pitch, Watt would take his seat to watch the game, where his real task was at hand as he attempted to complete the “9/9/9 challenge”. For those who are unaware of what the 9/9/9 challenge entails, it includes drinking nine beers and eating nine hot dogs before the nine-inning game is concluded.
Not only was Watt able to defeat the challenge. But it didn’t even seem like all that much of a challenge to him at all. Watt provided several updates on how the challenge was going on social media throughout the night, which all showed how he was on a pretty ridiculous pace.
By the end of the first inning, Watt had completed 1/3 of the challenge, eating three hot dogs and drank three beers.

At the end of the second inning, Watt had eaten five hot dogs and drank five beers.
5 & 5 thru 2nd Inning.

By the third inning, Watt had eaten seven hot dogs and drank seven beers.
7 & 7 thru 3 innings.
Hitting cruise control now.

Watt’s pace slowed a bit after that. But in the middle of the fifth inning, Watt posted a video eating his final hot dog of the challenge, getting a round of applause from the surrounding Brewers fans in attendance at the game.
All done.
5.5 innings.
Go Brew Crew!

It perhaps shouldn’t be all that surprising to see that Watt could do this challenge with ease. In an interview with GQ in 2016, Watt said that he ate upwards of 5,000 calories a day, a diet that include a second breakfast, lunch, and dinner that totaled six meals.
But based on this latest impressive eating feat on Friday, it sure doesn’t seem like all that much has changed in his diet. And if the nine hot dogs and nine beers weren’t enough, he posted after the game that he was having a “post-game” meal at the popular fast-food chain Culver’s…

This was quite the impressive feat from J.J. Watt. We’re sure that at some point this season, Ian Eagle will bring this up during an NFL broadcast.
