GLENWOOD — After falling to Glenwood-Lowry Legion 18U 2-1 on July 24, 2025, Parkers Prairie needed to win four games in a row to take home the Minnesota American Legion Division II Senior West Central Sub-State championship.

Parkers Prairie took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning as Chavous Wendt knocked in a run on a fielder’s choice. But with RBI singles from Gannon Reindinger and Cooper Dack in the bottom of the third inning, and a Ben Gunlogson RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning, Montevideo won the sub-state title game 3-1 on July 27, 2025.

Parkers Prairie defeated Madison 4-3 to begin the day on Saturday, then beat Glenwood-Lowry 5-0, after Glenwood-Lowry had lost to Montevideo 3-0.
