Colorado (28-78) opened a three-game road series at Cleveland (52-54) on Monday. The Rockies won the series opener, 8-6, at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.

Former Tennessee pitcher Seth Halvorsen earned his 11th save in 2025 for Colorado. He pitched one inning and recorded one strikeout, while allowing two walks, one hit and one run (one earned) against five batters.

Halvorsen totaled 27 pitches, including 13 strikes. Two strikes were on a first pitch.

Former Vol Jordan Beck started in left field for the Rockies at Cleveland. He went 2-for-4 and recorded one walk.

Halvorsen and Beck were teammates at Tennessee in 2022. The Vols won SEC Tournament and regular-season championships during the 2022 season.

Game No. 2 between Cleveland and Colorado is slated for 6:40 p.m. EDT on Tuesday. Wednesday’s series finale is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. EDT.

The Rockies will return home, Friday-Sunday, for a three-game series against Pittsburgh at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
