CLEVELAND — The Guardians recovered from their worse day of the season on July 28 with a 10-4 win July 29, highlighted by Kyle Manzardo’s multi-homer game with the trade deadline looming.

Logan Allen is cruising, the Guardians offense is pounding the Rockies’ pitching, and Cleveland will take a 9-1 lead into the top of the sixth inning.

Brayan Rocchio hits 2-run triple; Guardians crushing Rockies
The Guardians are pouring it on now.
Already up 5-0, Brayan Rocchio tripled off the wall in right field to bring home two more runs, making it a 7-0 Cleveland lead.

Kyle Manzardo hits 2-run home run
Kyle Manzardo drilled a two-run home run to center field, which gives the Guardians a 5-0 lead in the third inning and Manzardo a career-high eight-game hitting streak.

After last night’s loss, which came in pretty brutal fashion, the Guardians today are acting as if they’re playing the worst team in baseball.
Guardians, Rockies update: Brayan Rocchio extends Cleveland lead
With David Fry on second base, Brayan Rocchio blooped a single into left field that was then bobbled by left fielder Jordan Beck, allowing Fry to score, which makes it a 3-0 Guardians lead in the second inning.
