Most memorable team accomplishment you’ve been a part of in college?
Winning conference, then winning our regional in the 2023 playoffs.
Most memorable individual athletic achievement/moment in college?
Hitting a home run to take the lead in the 10th inning against UW Eau-Claire.
Biggest difference competing in high school versus college?
There isn’t really a dip in talent level on a team in college. Everyone who made it there is good. So, you will realize quickly that it is ok to fail, but you must improve upon that failure or else things won’t go well.
What’s your major and what career do you see yourself in after graduation?
My major is Physical Education, and I see myself teaching Phy Ed after college.
High school athletic memory that you still cherish?
Hitting a grand slam in the playoffs and winning that game by 15.
Teammate you miss playing/competing with the most?
My whole class. I played with a lot of these same people from 9U until graduating, so we were a very close group. There’s nothing more fun than playing baseball with great friends.
Coach(es) that had the greatest impact on you?
My dad, coach Soule. This is because of the amount of time he spent helping me improve my game by throwing batting practice, or hitting me ground balls. As well as, being honest at all times about what he was seeing, and how I could improve myself. It helped me get a lot better, and I am grateful for it.
