In the National League, the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves and New York Mets are fighting for the final two MLB postseason spots.
In the American League, the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals have clinched the final two postseason positions, joining the New York Yankees, Cleveland Guardians, Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles in the playoffs.
