Yeah it’s odd. Houston needs a lefty, and he isn’t a rental so the Orioles woulda been hesitant to move him. My guess is the Orioles had a higher price on him than the soon-to-be Free agents, and Ramon has done a lot for the Orioles over the years. Solid glove and bat, but odd destination in Houston.
Then again, I’ve seldom understood the Astros moves. I guess Mike Elias still knows some folks over there and owes them a favor??~
