The former Floyd Central High School standout is in his second year of professional baseball.
The 6-foot-4, 170-pound right-handed pitcher started this season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
On July 14, Letson was transferred from the seven-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.
So far this season, Letson is 2-0 with a 1.33 earned-run average in six appearances (five starts). Over 27 innings, he’s allowed five runs (four earned) on 16 hits while walking seven and striking out 30.
In his minor-league career, Letson is 3-4 with a 2.59 ERA in 22 appearances (including 19 starts). He has allowed 31 runs (26 earned) on 59 hits while walking 34 and striking out 87 over 90 1/3 innings. Teams are batting only .189 against him.
The Timber Rattlers are scheduled to continue their six-game series against the Lake County Captains through Sunday.
