COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (CBS2) — Battalion Chief John Morrison and his son Joe, both lifelong Seattle Mariners fans, had an unforgettable night at the ballpark on Friday.
Coeur d’Alene firefighters arranged for Joe to witness the Mariners’ thrilling victory, which came on a JP Crawford walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
In addition to watching the game, Joe had the opportunity to attend batting practice and meet the players. The event was made possible through the generosity of Chief Dennis Doan, the Seattle Mariners, and many others who contributed to the memorable experience.
