Matt Vierling will lead for the Detroit Tigers on Sunday night in Philadelphia.

The Tigers (65-47) and Phillies (62-48) have split the first two games of the series and will play the rubber match in a nationally televised game at 7:10 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park.

Catcher Jake Rogers; infielder Colt Keith; infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry; and outfielder Kerry Carpenter will be available off the bench. The full lineup is below.

Newly acquired Tigers right-hander Charlie Morton (7-8, 5.42 ERA) will face Phillies left-hander Christopher Sanchez (9-3, 2.55).

Today is Charlie Morton’s 400th career start (and first as a Tiger).Other active members of the 400 Club: Justin Verlander (544), Max Scherzer (464) and Clayton Kershaw (442).

Morton, 41, is in his 18th big-league season and joins his seventh MLB team. He signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Orioles before the season but struggled early, going 0-6 with a 10.36 ERA in his first six outings.

After a stint in the bullpen, he returned to the rotation on May 26 and has since gone 7-1 with a 3.88 ERA (4.12 FIP) over 60 1/3 innings, with 61 strikeouts and 24 walks.

Left-handed hitters have just a .456 OPS against Sanchez this season.
