CLEVELAND, Ohio — Minnesota’s offense erupted early against Joey Cantillo and the Guardians, building a four-run lead in the first inning that proved insurmountable as the Twins handed Cleveland a 5-4 loss Sunday at Progressive Field.

Minnesota’s victory snapped its five-game losing streak in Cleveland, but not before the Guardians stormed back with a pair of runs in the ninth to make things interesting.
