CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Guardians on Thursday traded pitcher Shane Bieber.
The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly set to acquire Bieber, 30, for a starting position.
In exchange, the Guardians said the team is bringing on right-handed pitcher Khal Stephen.

Bieber, a Cy Young Award winner, is making $10 million this season. He holds a $16 million player option for 2026.
Stephen was a second round pick in last year’s draft. He is the No. 5 prospect in Toronto’s farm system.
