The Philadelphia Phillies put up a season high eight runs in their 13-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday tonight.

On Tuesday they are switching up the lineup, with Baltimore throwing right-hander Dean Kremer, Philadelphia will counter with a left-handed heavy lineup.

Tuesday’s Left-Handed Heavy Lineup

The lineup at the top is familiar,  with Trea Turner, the red-hot Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto and Nick Castellanos in the top five spots.

After that its Brandon Marsh, Max Kepler, Edmundo Sosa and Bryson Stott.

Bader Sits, Kepler and Sosa Start

The odd names out tonight are newcomer Harrison Bader, who sits in favor of Kepler and Otto Kemp. Sosa had the hot bat on Monday going 3-for-4 with a home run amd three runs scored.

Bader sits after hitting his first home run in Philadelphia, while Kepler has struggled all season, and has been downright awful since June 1.

Kremer has a 4.27 ERA in 126.1 innings over 22 appearances in 2025.

Taijuan Walker Starts With Rotation Changes Looming

On the mound the Phillies hand the ball to Taijuan Walker, who allowed two runs in five innings in his last start, Wednesday against the White Sox.

This could be one of the final starts for Walker with Aaron Nola getting closer to a return to the majors. Nola will likely make at least one additional rehab start before the team brings him back to Philadelphia.

Joe Ross Recalled, Seth Johnson Sent to Triple-A

Before the game, the Phillies made a roster move, adding Joe Ross to the big league roster. Ross is gone 2-1 with a 5.28 ERA (26 ER, 44.1 IP) and 34 strikeouts to 16 walks this season.

To make room for him, the team sent Seth Johnson back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Johnson threw Monday night, tossing 2.0 innings with a career-high five strikeouts against Baltimore. Overall in 10 outings, he has a 4.26 ERA (6 ER, 12.2 IP) with 17 strikeouts and four walks.
