The Los Angeles Dodgers clobbered the St. Louis Cardinals, 12-6, behind a pair of home runs from both Max Muncy (in just his second game back from his injured list stint) and Teoscar Hernández. Mookie Betts notched his first three-hit game since June 7 as LA improved to 66-48 on the year.

Unfortunately, utility man Kiké Hernández may not have the same luck as Muncy did, as he is at risk of potentially missing the rest of the season. With a nagging elbow injury being the reason for his IL stay, the fan favorite has tried a plethora of remedies to try and get back onto the diamond.

Speaking of fan favorites, former Dodger Joe Kelly is trying his hand at an MLB comeback. The veteran gave an update as to where he’s at in terms of a reunion, just in time for the postseason.

Max Muncy is the straw that stirs the drink for the Dodgers offense.

When he was placed on the IL with a left knee bruise on 7/3, the Dodgers were averaging 5.62 RPG. In the 25 games he was out they averaged 3.52 RPG.
