I guess the folks at SBnation still have my profile frozen in a cryogenic tube, as my permissions still do not allow me to create an article. As to not overwhelm the already busy plate of our fearless leader Dan Secatore, I have to just give you links to box scores today.

One thing that is not taking any time after being introduced is Roman Anthony. I was just writing about him on these Minor Lines and now he’s finalizing a deal for 8 years/130 million that could increase another 100 million dollars based on performance, which even at the upper end, I’m totally fine with. They grow up so fast!

Let’s get into yesterday’s action.

I mean, it’s not even right the way Password is tearing the cover off the ball, right? His three-game homer streak was broken but he added to his hot streak by getting a triple on Bisons (Blue Jays AAA) pitching among two other hits. Garcia was among five batters to record multiple hits, and two of the others, Trayce Thompson and Nate Eaton, smoked home runs. Also, it was stated to watch how recent Triple-A promotee was used in his early goings to see if he’ll be called up this year. If his early usage in Worcester is of any indication, I might start writing the Meet The New Guy now as an early-innings reliever. He pitched the fifth and into the sixth, and it was not a clean outing but he did get the decision win thanks to those aforementioned homers giving in some run support.

In a game that had significantly less offense out in Harrisburg (Nationals AA) Tuesday, the Sea Dogs struggled to get much run support going behind 5 ?
? strong innings out of Hayden Mullins, a guy that continuously looks primed to spend some time in Worcester soon. The Sea Dogs looked primed to lose this game, stranding twelve… until a two-out RBI double by Ronaldo Hernandez. That double was all the difference in this game and accounted for the only run scored by either side.

While Password helped the WooSox win, his brother kept his team close against Rome (Braves High-A). All six of the Drive’s top six batters recorded a hit, but that was all they got with just one extra-base hit, a double by Yophery Rodriguez. Noah Dean, who’s been demoted to the bullpen, came out and gave the Emperors four earned runs on three walks and two hits in less than an inning following Austin Ehrlicher’s clean four innings that unfortunately didn’t carry as long as it should’ve.

Salem made the most of Kannapolis’ (White Sox A) two errors on the night in a game where their offense – catch the theme here – wasn’t really rolling on all cylinders, or even like, half the cylinders. This was thanks to PJ Labriola getting Ben Hansen out of some deep doo-doo with no outs in the ninth after entering the frame up 3-0. As I say time after time, a win is a win, right?
