The Atlanta Braves continue their home stand against the Miami Marlins – and due a rain-out from earlier this season – the two teams will play five games in four days, including a double-header on Saturday.

Back on April 6, when Saturday’s make-up game was originally scheduled, the idea that one of these two teams would be one of the worst in the sport and the other had caught fire before the All-Star break and was trying to make an August push to get back into the playoff race, that would have seemed entirely plausible.

As for which team was which, well, that would have been a miss for almost everyone.

The Marlins roster may have the most anonymous line-up in baseball and their pitching staff hasn’t been as strong as the name on the back of some of the jerseys might infer but both have been okay-enough to have the team playing at a near-.500 level.

The Braves are, well, awful. Hurston Waldrep might be one of the starting pitchers on Saturday, and if so, it will be curious to see if he can repeat the success when he picked up his first win on Sunday.

It’s August and baseball is still the best, so watch anyway, why don’t ya?

Here are the start times for each of the upcoming games against the Marlins.
