(WLUK) — The Milwaukee Brewers are taking the sports world by storm, and one of the key players in the team’s surge is Andrew Vaughn.
Now, the Brewers are capitalizing on the first baseman’s popularity with a t-shirt giveaway.
The Brewers announced Thursday that the first 10,000 fans arriving at the Aug. 26 game against the Arizona Diamondbacks will receive an exclusive “King Vaughn” t-shirt. Available sizes are adult medium and extra large.
Vaughn was traded to the Brewers from the Chicago White Sox in June. He spent a few weeks in the minor leagues, and was called up to the Brewers on July 7. Since then, he is second in the major leagues with 28 RBI, and has batted .377 with seven home runs.
The Brewers have the best record in Major League Baseball (70-44) and lead the National League’s Central Division by four games over the Chicago Cubs.
