The Detroit Tigers organization has a lot of its top prospects playing for the Double-A Erie SeaWolves, and Tigers fans will soon have an opportunity to get a better look at them.
FanDuel Sports Network Detroit will broadcast four SeaWolves games in August, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 with a matchup against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (the San Francisco Giants‘ affiliate in Virginia).
The SeaWolves feature four of the team’s top five prospects, per MLB Pipeline: shortstop Kevin McGonigle (No. 1), center fielder Max Clark (No. 2), catcher Josue Briceño (No. 4) and catcher Thayron Liranzo (No. 5). In addition to being the team’s top prospect, McGonigle was recently named as the No. 1 prospect in baseball by FanGraphs and Baseball America (he’s No. 6 per MLB Pipeline).

How to watch Tigers best prospects at Erie SeaWolves game
With the Tigers off on Thursday, Aug. 7, FanDuel Sports Network Detroit will fill that slot with the team’s Double-A affiliate Erie SeaWolves, who are playing the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:05 p.m. ET.
The SeaWolves entered Wednesday at 61-41 this season, with a playoff berth locked up for winning the Eastern League Southwest Division. The Flying Squirrels are last in the division this season, at 38-62.
