MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers are taking the concept of “pocket pancakes” to a new level.
During a recent in-game interview on Apple TV, Brewers Manager Pat Murphy revealed his quirky habit of stashing food in the back pocket of his pants or front pocket of his Brewers hoodie.
Roughly one week after Murphy’s in-game munchie habit went viral, and just in time for the homestand, the Brewers are launching “Murph’s Pocket Pancakes” at American Family Field.
According to a press release from the team, the Ball Four Pocket Pack includes four pocket pancakes and a choice of maple syrup or strawberry compote dipping sauce for $4.99. The Double Chicken ‘n’ Pancakes Pocket Pack includes two chicken tender stuffed pancakes, topped with chopped bacon and a sweet maple syrup drizzle for $7.99.
The two options will be available during Sunday home games beginning August 10 at the Chicken Stands in the first and third base wards.
