BASEBALL TOP 10

1. St. John Bosco (23-4)

The Trinity League champs earned a first round bye in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs. The Braves will host Harvard-Westlake or Vista Murrieta in the second round on May 20.

2. La Mirada (21-6)

The Gateway League champs will host No. 3 Los Alamitos in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs on Thursday.

3. Los Alamitos (17-9-2)

The Sunset League’s No. 3 seed will play at No. 2 La Mirada in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs on Thursday.

4. Millikan (21-7)

The Rams rise to No. 4 this week after earning a share of the Moore League title with a 7-2 win against Wilson on May 7. The Moore League co-champions will play at Foothill in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs on Friday.

5. Gahr (16-12)

The Gladiators rise to No. 5 after finishing second in the Gateway League. They will host La Salle in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs on Friday.

6. Wilson (19-9)

The Bruins fall to No. 6 after losing to Torrance and Millikan last week. The Moore League’s No. 1 seed will play at Fullerton in first round of the Division 3 playoffs on Thursday.

7. Warren (16-12)

The Gateway League’s No. 3 seed will play Redondo in the first round of the Division 3 playoffs on Thursday. The Bears lost at Redondo 11-3 on April 19.

The Gateway League’s No. 4 seed will host La Cañada in the first round of the Division 4 playoffs on Friday.

9. Valley Christian (15-10)

The Olympic League runner-up will play at No. 1 seed Woodbridge in the Division 4 playoffs on Friday.

10. Long Beach Poly (14-13)

The Moore League’s No. 3 seed will host Mayfair in the first round of the Division 5 playoffs on Thursday.
