Dodgers minor league outfielder Eduardo Quintero was named the Caliifornia League player of the week on Monday, the fourth Rancho Cucamonga Quake to capture a weekly honor this season.

Quintero, signed out of Venezuela in 2023, hit .375/.500/.875 with three home runs, a triple, a double, five RBI, six walks, and eight runs scored in six games last week in Visalia. That included a two-homer game on Thursday.

Playing mostly center field (17 starts there, compared to six in right field and four at designated hitter) for the Quakes, Quintero on the season is hitting .299/.406/.561 with a 158 wRC+, six home runs, four doubles, and three triples with 29 runs scored in 27 games.

Quintero, who turns 20 in September, was named to four top-10 Dodgers prospect lists prior to this season.

Other Quakes to win weekly Cal League honors this season include outfielder Mike Sirota and pitcher Sterling Patick last week, and pitcher Sean Linan for the week of April 14-20. Linan also won league pitcher of the month for April before getting promoted to High-A Great Lakes.
