CLEVELAND, Ohio — When the season opened, Cleveland’s front office looked at its talent on the 40-man roster and beyond. They felt three prospects might be able to help them at the big league level at some point during the regular season.
Injuries upset those plans as Travis Bazzana, Chase DeLauter and Juan Brito spent considerable time on the injured list. While DeLauter and Brito are still injured, Bazzana was promoted to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday from Double-A Akron.
