The Reds will host a special night at Great American Ball Park to “honor the life and career of the legendary ‘Hit King’ in front of his hometown fans,” according to the team’s website. All attendees will receive a No. 14 Pete Rose replica jersey featuring a commemorative Pete Rose Night tag. Per a press release, the jerseys are modeled after the road uniform Rose wore during his World Series victories in 1975 and 1976.

Gates are scheduled to open at 5:14 p.m. for Reds Season Ticket Members and 5:44 p.m. for all remaining gates, according to a press release. Fans are invited to attend pregame ceremonies, including a Q&A session with Rose’s former teammates, friends and family, at 6:30 p.m.

The game will have a special 7:14 start time as an homage to Rose, per the website.

Adult XL sizes will be given to fans at ballpark gates. Adult 2XL and M sizes will be available at exchange tables near Gapper’s Alley, located on the Terrace Level behind section 120, and the First Star Fan Zone, while supplies last.

5:44 p.m.: Gates open to Great American Ball Park. All fans will receive a No. 14 Pete Rose replica jersey.
6:30 p.m.: The following pregame ceremonies will begin:
Q&A with Reds Hall of Famers George Foster, Ken Griffey Sr., Eric Davis and Barry Larkin, with Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman serving as emcee.
Reds manager Terry Francona and others will honor the Hit King with a video tribute.
Colors will be presented by members of the United States Army.
Before singing the National Anthem, a 14-second moment of remembrance will be held to honor Rose’s life.
Students from Western Hills High School, Rose’s alma mater, will sing the national anthem.
Members of the Rose family will deliver the official game ball. They will also serve as the game’s honorary captains.
7:14 p.m.: Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago White Sox. Iconic Rose moments will be shared during inning breaks on the ballpark videoboards.
