The Atlanta Braves are a baseball team in the National League East. The New York Mets are also a baseball team in the National League East. And this week, the two team will play baseball games against each other. Exciting!
The Mets have been spiraling since mid-June – outside of a week in late July – but are still within shouting distance of the East-leading Phillies and on the edge of the final Wild Card spot in the National League.
But the Braves are coming off of a series victory against the Miami Marlins where they won four-out-of-five games, but still, they have almost no path to the post season. The Mets and Braves are usually an entertaining affair, and the Braves being able to continue the Mets misery would surely be a sliver of a silver lining on an otherwise forgettable August. And hey, the Braves are have won five of the seven games the two teams have played this year.
Here are the start times for each of the upcoming games against the Mets.
