Masataka Yoshida is not in the lineup. Roman Anthony will serve as the DH.
Rafaela has spent most of this season in center field but he has played a lot of second base recently with Marcelo Mayer (sprained wrist) on the IL.
Ace Garrett Crochet (13-4, 2.24 ERA) will start opposite Astros righty Cristian Javier who’s making his first start back from Tommy John surgery.
Alex Bregman returns to Houston for the first time since signing a three-year, $120 million contract with the Red Sox in February that includes opt-outs after both 2025 and 2026.
“It’s gonna be great,” Bregman said Sunday. “It’s gonna be cool to be back in Houston playing against a really good ball club and look forward to going out there, competing with the guys and trying to get some wins.”

Carlos Narváez is back in the starting lineup for the first time since last Tuesday. He’s been dealing with a sore knee but did play the eighth inning Sunday after Boston pinch hit for Connor Wong.
