Powell Pioneer standout Jordan Loera will further his baseball career after signing with Miles City Community College in Montana. Loera was an all-state and two-time all-conference pick during his last two seasons with the Pioneers. He was also a member of back-to-back Single-A state championship teams at Powell in 2023 and 2024.
Loera earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors in the 2025 season. He had a .363 batting average this year. His on-base percentage was .512, and Jordan had an OPS of 1.173. Loera finished the 2025 season with 45 hits. That included four doubles, nine triples, and five home runs. He drove in 35 runs, scored 43 times, drew 33 walks, and struck out 26 times. Jordan added 30 stolen bases.
On the mound, Loera went 3-2 over 16 appearances with five saves. He threw 24.1 innings and finished with an ERA of 3.452. Loera allowed 22 runs on 30 hits with four walks and 26 strikeouts. Opponents had a .278 batting average against him. His fielding percentage was .941 in 2025.
In the 2024 season, Loera was a second-team all-conference award winner. He had a .295 batting average with 41 hits and 19 RBIs. Jordan scored 44 runs, drew 30 walks, struck out 54 times, and had 28 stolen bases in his first full season on Powell’s varsity squad. As a pitcher, Loera tossed 51 innings over 18 appearances. He was 6-2 with one save and an ERA of 2.608. Opponents hit .224 against him, and Loera gave up 35 runs on 44 hits with 17 walks and 37 strikeouts.

Jordan was once honored as one of the ‘Pitchers of the Year’ within the Powell American Legion Baseball program. He also played for Powell’s all-star baseball teams in the majors and minors divisions.
Miles City Community College is in Miles City, MT. The Pioneers compete at the NJCAA level and are members of the MonDak Conference in Region XIII.
