The White Sox bullpen shuffle continues.

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, the Chicago White Sox made four notable roster moves ahead of their series finale against the Cleveland Guardians. The team shared the announcement on their X account, outlining the roster changes.

The White Sox opted to send two players to their Triple-A affiliate, Charlotte. The team optioned right-handed pitcher Wikelman González and left-handed pitcher Bryan Hudson to Charlotte. González, who was recently called up to the big leagues just before the weekend series in a move that sent starter Jonathan Cannon to Charlotte, and Hudson, a promising talent, will nevertheless continue their development at the minor league level.

In a corresponding move, the White Sox recalled two pitchers from Charlotte to bolster their major league roster. The team called up left-handed pitcher Cam Booser and right-handed pitcher Elvis Peguero to join them for the game. Booser, who has had a remarkable journey back to the majors, and Peguero, one of only five players in MLB history with the first name “Elvis,” bring additional depth to the pitching staff.
