Things weren’t looking great if you’re a Texas Rangers fan after the top of the sixth inning at Globe Life Field on Monday night.
Texas was down 5-1 and an offense that has characteristically struggled as the game goes along in 2025, was going to need runs.
Then suddenly all that changed, and a Rangers comeback was capped off with a walk-off hit from Jake Burger in the bottom of the tenth inning to give them a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first game of the two teams’ three-game series in Arlington this week.
