CLEVELAND, Ohio — Manager Stephen Vogt has one goal for David Fry this season. He wants him to recover from surgery on his right elbow so he can catch next season.
A healthy Fry, who is able to catch and perhaps move around the infield and outfield, would be a big asset in 2026. Vogt found out how much of an asset Fry could be in the first half of the 2024 season when the Guardians started quickly on their way to the AL Central championship.
