On Tuesday night, the Brewers extended their win streak to 11 games, trouncing the Pittsburgh Pirates 14-0. All they need is one more win to trigger the free burgers.
“The streak is ALIVE and WELL! Only one more win until it’s burger time! Keep cheering on the Crew, and we’ll keep the grills warm!” George Webb said in a post on X following the game.
The Brewers were close to getting 12 in late July this year after winning 11 straight. But they lost what would’ve been their 12th straight on July 22, with the Seattle Mariners defeating them 1-0.
The last time the Brewers won 12-straight was in 2018. At the time, over 90,000 burgers were served and 100,000 free burger vouchers were handed out by George Webb to fans.

The tradition began more than 80 years ago — unofficially in the 1940s and officially in 1965, when a prediction was painted on the restaurant walls and put in local papers by the owner.
The Brewers have cashed in twice on what’s known as the George Webb “12 in a Row,” during the 2018 streak and in 1987.
In 1987, they actually extended that streak even further, to 13 wins.
