Blake Krass makes his MLB fantasy baseball DraftKings Pick6 selections for Friday’s slate.
The 2025 MLB season is heading down the final stretch. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
Manny Machado More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Manny Machado is having his best season at the plate since his MVP runner-up season in 2022. Machado has a 133 OPS+, which would make this the fourth-best season of his 13-year career. Tonight, he will face his long-time rival, and very brief teammate, Clayton Kershaw. Machado has performed well against Kershaw throughout his career. He is batting .310 with four home runs in 42 career at-bats against Kershaw. His batting average has been better against righties, but he has generated more power against lefties. He has a 1.023 OPS against left-handed starters this season and should be able to get an extra-base hit off Kershaw.

Trea Turner More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Trea Turner is having a solid season at the plate. He leads the National League in hits this season and has been a constant in the Phillies’ lineup all season. He ranks 13th in the MLB in runs scored this season and has been a key part of the great Philadelphia offense. Turner has been on a tear over the past week, with an .839 OPS in his last seven games. Over that stretch, he has 18 hits + runs + RBIs, more than 2.5 per game. He should be able to get over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs against MacKenzie Gore and the Nationals. Gore made his first All-Star Game this season, but has really struggled since the break. Over his past five starts, he has a 9.55 ERA and is allowing an OPS of 1.051 to opposing hitters. Turner has crushed Gore in the past, with a .409 batting average in 22 career at-bats against the leftie. Turner should be able to generate some runs in this game and get over this number.

Jeff McNeil More Than 0.5 Hits
Jeff McNeil and the Mets are massively struggling at the moment, but it has been a solid season at the plate for McNeil overall. The former National League batting champ has a .767 OPS on the season, the best OPS he’s had since that batting title-winning season in 2022. He will be looking to get some offense going for the Mets in tonight’s game against the Mariners. Luis Castillo is taking the mound for Seattle, and McNeil has crushed him in the past. McNeil has a .455 batting average and a 1.091 SLG in his career against Castillo. McNeil has two home runs in those 11 career at-bats against Castillo and should be able to get a base hit tonight, at the very least.

What is DraftKings Pick6?
Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
How to Play
Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
