After being hit in the wrist by a pitch Friday, second baseman Marcus Semien is out of the lineup for the Rangers’ game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday.

Semien told reporters Saturday that his wrist was swollen when he woke up. He said he is getting X-Rays on the wrist later on Saturday.

Semien leads the Rangers with 453 at-bats this season. He has a .223 batting average on the season with 101 hits, 59 RBIs and 14 home runs. He hit a two-run home run in Friday’s 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays.

Ezequiel Duran will replace Semien at second base for Saturday afternoon’s game.
