Outfielders stand out among the Dodgers prospects, with Josue De Paula and Great Lakes teammate Zyhir Hope — both of whom played in the Futures Game this year — ranked 12th and 19th at MLB Pipeline, with the pair ranked 19th and 22nd, respectively, at Baseball America.

Shortstop Alex Freeland, who’s filled in for the Dodgers at third base and second base this month, is ranked the No. 43 prospect at MLB Pipeline and 56th at Baseball America.

Though Roki Sasaki and Dalton Rushing have exhausted their rookie status this year by service time, they haven’t yet reached 50 innings or 130 at-bats, so Baseball America still includes them as prospects. Rushing is the 18th-best prospect at BA with Sasaki 36th.

“Make no mistake about it: Sasaki still has the upside of a starter at the top of a rotation,” noted Baseball America. “But Sasaki has only shown glimpses of that upside this year before a right shoulder impingement shelved him in the middle of May.“

With the updates to the top-100 lists at Baseball America and MLB Pipeline this week came new top-30 lists for every team. The aforementioned bevy of outfield prospects make it hard to stand out for other Dodgers minor league outfielders to stand out. But Kendall George is doing his best of late.
