A 12-year-old pitcher for the Metro Region champion at the Little League World Series has been accused of a “cocky” move on the mound. The pitcher, who is part of the team from Fairfield, Connecticut, signaled to the hitter from the West Region which pitches he was about to throw.

The pitcher signaled that a fastball was coming. He was fed up with the hitter for taking so long in the box. The 12-year-old hitter called a last second timeout to the umpire.

“Would be cool to see this clip resurface in like 15 years in a World Series flashback, pretty cool seeing that kind of competitive drive at that age, can’t be coached,” one fan added.

“You get in the box and ain’t ready to hit, you start with your hand up. I’m loving the fire from the pitcher. Lot of cry babies in the comments,” one fan added.

“Dude that kid was standing in the box for a day and a half. And then midway through the windup puts his hand up. Let me just call time after I already called time. Solid. Strike 3,” another fan added.
