The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially placed right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki on the injured list with right shoulder impingement, the team announced.
Right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen, who was with the team at Dodger Stadium, has been recalled to take his place.

Ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Athletics, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sasaki was dealing with arm soreness and could go on the IL. Now, that move has been made official, as Sasaki will miss at least the next two weeks of action.
On the year, Sasaki has made eight starts, going 1-1 with a 4.72 ERA. He’s struck out just 24 batters across 34.1 innings pitched, allowing 29 hits, 18 earned runs and 22 walks.
The Dodgers rotation — already without Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Clayton Kershaw — has now gotten even thinner.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tony Gonsolin and Dustin May are the three main staples, with Landon Knack likely getting a longer stay following his start on Tuesday.
