It’s been just over two and a half months since Tennessee baseball knocked off Wake Forest on Monday night to advance to super regionals for the fifth straight season. It was the final game Tennessee played at Lindsey Nelson Stadium during the 2025 season, allowing stadium construction to go into overdrive again shortly afterward.
Tennessee has made significant progress since then. The new press level was partly built last season but they have expanded it further down the left field line. They’ve also made major strides to the club level. None of the club level was built at the start of last season with a very minor amount built by the end of the year.
That club level now has a complete base structure with the seats etched out for about 60% of the boxes. The shells of bathrooms and elevators in the press level have now been created as well. Tennessee has also made strides with the front entrance and the concourse though we were unable to snag pictures of that due to the road closure.
Tennessee hopes that the stadium will be completed before the start of the 2026 season in February, but construction often moves slowly and it is no guarantee that it will be. But there’s no doubt they’ve gotten off to a solid start this offseason.
Here’s a look at how Lindsey Nelson Stadium’s construction is progressing at this time.
