LAKELAND, Fla. – Former Washington State Cougars catcher Will Cresswell hammered a deep two-RBI double tonight to earn his first career professional hit.

Cresswell helped his Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays to a doubleheader win over the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted the catcher in the 18th round after his prolific season in Pullman, where he closed out his senior season batting .329 with 51 hits and a team-high 43 RBI.
