The Los Angeles Dodgers lost, 11-1, to the Athletics on Tuesday in their first game back home after a 10-game road trip. L.A. fell to 27-15 on the season.

Ahead of the eventual loss, the Dodgers unfortunately placed Roki Sasaki on the injured list. After reportedly experiencing arm soreness, recent drops in his fastball velocity, and a recently optioned pitcher joining the team unexpectedly, the writing was on the wall for an IL stint.

Additionally, another team has emerged in a would-be deal for Luis Robert. The fellow National League juggernaut has been linked to a deal for the All-Star as they, too, could use his assistance on defense.

Finally, in some positive Dodgers news, the prospect acquired at the expense of Gavin Lux was recently promoted. The promotion has come ahead of schedule as the young man continues to show promise in his development.
