The Bad News: The Rest

I’ve stepped outside, and it’s a glorious day. You could probably StubHub a decent ticket on the Thrivent deck from a season-ticket holder and get yourself a brisket sandwich. It will run you $20, but I’m telling you, it’s worth it. The nachos up there are better as well. Grab some grub and enjoy the atmosphere with a baseball game in the background.

The Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins square off this afternoon at Target Field after an extra inning loss for the Twins Wednesday night. The Twins are trying to not get swept by the second worst team in the AL, and the worst team in the AL West. The Twins really aren’t that far off though. Oakland enters the game with a 58-70 record, riding the momentum of a two-game winning streak and boasting a strong 7-3 mark over their last 10 contests.

The Twins, meanwhile, hold a 58-68 record and are aiming to snap a two-game skid. It’s been a tough stretch for Minnesota, who has dropped seven of their last 10 games.

On the mound, the A’s will send Jack Perkins to start, while the Twins counter with José Ureña.
