The Arizona Diamondbacks aim for their first series win since April in a getaway day finale against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday.
Having alternated wins and losses in each of the last 11 games, the Arizona Diamondbacks conclude their quick three-game road trip on Wednesday afternoon in search of their first series win of May in the rubber match against the San Francisco Giants. The Diamondbacks will start veteran southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez (1-3, 6.86 ERA), who has allowed six or more earned runs in two of his last three starts, against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks (1-4, 5.82 ERA). He’s in search of his first victory in his last seven outings and hopes to get some run support, as San Francisco has plated more than four runs just once in Hicks’ last six starts.
