The Milwaukee Brewers will honor iconic radio voice Bob Uecker with a celebration of life ceremony Aug. 24 before the team’s game against the San Francisco Giants. Here’s what to know about the game:
What time is the game celebrating Bob Uecker?
The game against the San Francisco Giants begins at 1:10 p.m. CT Sunday, Aug. 24, but the ceremony will take place beforehand. The Brewers are asking fans to get to their seats by 12:15 p.m. to see every part of the ceremony.

What special events will commemorate Bob Uecker?
The Brewers have said there will be a few surprises during the ceremony, but they’ve announced that broadcasting legend Bob Costas, a good friend of Uecker’s, will host the pregame program.
Also:
Ilene Graff, who played Marsha Owens on “Mr. Belvedere,” will sing the national anthem. Uecker played the patriarch of the Owens family on the sitcom from 1985 to 1990.
Limited-edition retail items commemorating Uecker will be available at spots throughout the stadium, and the Uecker memorial uniform patch will return for one day early and can be applied to jerseys purchased at the stadium, including jerseys previously purchased.
The stadium will also showcase displays featuring Bob Uecker memorabilia.

All 50/50 raffle proceeds will benefit charities Uecker supported, including the Wounded Warrior Project, the ALS Association and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
All ticketed fans will receive a lapel pin featuring the Uecker uniform patch design. The pin is only available as a giveaway and not for sale at a later date. The teams will also use baseballs featuring the Uecker celebration logo.
The team is preparing scoreboard features that will get unveiled as the game goes on.

A Bob Uecker golf umbrella will be given to the first 25,000 ticketed fans through the gates Aug. 23.
