Sugar Land got on the board in the first scoring 3 runs on a Diaz RBI single and Palma 2 run double. They got another run in the 2nd inning on a Salazar RBI double. Pecko got the start and went 4 innings allowing 1 run while striking out 2. Leon added a 2 run HR in the 4th inning. The offense got 2 more runs in the 6th on RBI doubles from Barber and Leon. The pen allowed a few runs but was able to hold on for the 8-4 win.
Note: Leon is hitting .348 in Triple-A.
The Hooks jumped out to a big lead scoring 4 runs in the first inning on a Cole RBI double and 3 run double from Baez. They got another run in the 2nd inning on an Alvarez RBI single. Tredwell got the start and pitched well allowing 2 runs over 5 innings while striking out 6. The offense blew it open in the 7th inning scoring 7 runs on an Alvarez 2 run double, Clarke RBI double, Baez RBI single and bases loaded walks to Garcia, Spence and Martinez. The pen allowed a couple of runs but closed out the 12-5 win.
Note: Spence has a 1.046 OPS in Double-A.

Bolton started for the Woodpeckers and went 3 innings allowing 2 runs. Rodriguez was next in and he tossed 4 no-hit innings with 4 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 6th scoring 4 runs on a force out, Forrester 2 run single and Frey bases loaded walk. They got 2 more runs on Schiavone groundout and a Forrester RBI single. Rosario went the final 2 innings allowing 1 run as Fayetteville won 6-3.
Note: Frey is hitting .294 this season.
