SEATTLE — It’s that time of the year! With the arrival of spring and high expectations for the Mariners, fans will be flocking to T-Mobile Park to watch the city’s beloved baseball team play.

Whether it’s your first Seattle Mariners game or you’ve been cheering on the M’s since the Kingdome days, here is everything you need to know before going to T-Mobile Park this season.

Transportation and parking

You may be asking, “How do I get to T-Mobile Park?” The ballpark is located at 1250 1st Avenue South in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood. There are several ways to get to the ballpark, but the Mariners suggest planning ahead and considering all the transportation options when planning your trip to the game.

Driving: Click here for directions via Google Maps.

Parking: There is a wide range of parking options around SODO, but T-Mobile Park offers three garages near the ballpark.

The Mariners Garage is located on Edgar Martinez Drive South and opens three hours before game time. Cars are able to park without reserving in advance if space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This garage can only be booked in advance by Season Ticket members and Flex Membership holders. To book parking in advance without those memberships, the Mariners recommend using SpotHero to reserve parking outside of the Mariners Garage.

The Lumen Field Garage is located on South Royal Brougham Way. The price to park in the garage ranges from $10-$50, according to the Mariners website. The Union Station Garage South — both the farthest and most affordable — is located on Fourth Avenue South. The garage is a half-mile away from the ballpark, which will take most people around 10 minutes to walk. Prices range from $8-$30.

There are also several parking garages and lots in the Central Business District that “offer very reasonable evening and weekend parking rates,” according to the Mariners. Street parking is also available, but several on-street curb locations are not available for parking or stopping before, during, or after games. Drivers should pay attention to signs when deciding to park on the street to avoid immediate towing by the Seattle Police Department.

Click here for more information about parking.

King County Metro: The bus can be a great way for fans to save cash and headaches from parking. Several bus routes stop within a few blocks of T-Mobile Park. Because traffic can build up — even for buses — some fans may choose to opt for bus routes that stop in Pioneer Square or the International District/Chinatown and walk to the ballpark. Click here to plan your trip.

Metro’s ACCESS service and paratransit vans are directed to load and unload passengers along the east curb of Occidental Avenue S. next to the parking plaza.

Link light rail: Taking light rail is also a good option if you don’t want to figure out a place to park around the stadium, plus it is likely cheaper. Both the Stadium and International District/Chinatown stations are only a short walk from T-Mobile Park. Free parking is available at Washington State Park and Ride locations, according to WSDOT.

“Starting in 2025, Sound Transit will begin charging user fees to recover costs to provide parking at selected Link Station park and rides,” Sound Transit said on its website. “This change is consistent with the ST3 Plan.”

Sounder trains: Sound Transit said special Sounder trains serve T-Mobile Park on game days from as far as Everett and Lakewood. Fans will deboard at the King Street Sounder Station and walk about half a mile to the closest T-Mobile Park entrance. Click here for the schedule.

Taxi and rideshare: New in 2025 is a designated rideshare lot southeast of T-Mobile Park. A detailed map can be found here.

Ferry: Fans making the trek across the Sound can take a ferry to Colman Dock along the Seattle waterfront. The ferry terminal is located about a mile from the stadium. Click here to see the Washington State Ferries schedule.

Bicycle: There is bicycle parking available at the Mariners Garage both inside and outside, but cyclists should bring a bike lock for safety. For bike trails, protected bike paths, and painted bike lanes, use Seattle’s Department of Transportation bike web map. The Mariners also published recommended bike routes to the stadium.

There are some delectable new additions to the menu around T-Mobile Park this year.

While some fans are hungry for baseball to return to Seattle, others may be hungrier for the food around the stadium. This season’s food roster features favorites like Moto Pizza, Ivar’s, Tamari Bar, Kidd Valley, and more.

To honor Ichiro Suzuki and his election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Mariners will do more than just retire number 51.

Ichi Wings will be available at the Walk-Off Market in section 105. The recipe is one that was created specifically for Ichiro in the clubhouse kitchen.

The IchiRoll will also make a triumphant return to T-Mobile Park. Fans can order the salmon, crab, avocado, and cucumber roll from Nakagawa in section 132.

Nakagawa will also offer vegetable, California, Seattle, and Shiso Hama rolls.

One of the most unique items on the menu is the ice cream nachos. These “nachos” are made from soft serve ice cream, thick and crunchy waffle chips, sprinkles, and caramel sauce.

A massive souvenir trident cup can hold 32 ounces of any ballpark beverage. Fans who purchase this cup will be able to bring it back to future games. Any beverage that goes inside must be bought separately.

Value beer

The popular value beer program also returns this season, with 12 options ranging from $5 to $8.

New this year are three non-alcoholic options, with Blue Moon NA and Corona NA joining the returning Athletic IPA NA.

Unfortunately, the Mariners removed both IPA options and the only hard seltzer selection from last year’s menu. With the exit of Bale Breaker Topcutter IPA, Deschutes Fresh Haze IPA, and Topo Chico Ranch Water hard seltzer, all value beer options with alcohol have an ABV between 3.5%-5%.

Ichiro joined fellow Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez, and Jackie Robinson as the only players to have their uniform number retired by the Mariners.

“For nearly a quarter of a century, Ichiro has been an integral part of the Seattle Mariners organization,” Mariners Chairman and Managing Partner John Stanton said. “His number will be proudly displayed in T-Mobile Park forever as he aptly joins Ken and Edgar as Mariners in the Hall of Fame.”

Suzuki received 393 of 394 votes from the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. The other Mariners great on the ballot, Félix Hernández, earned 20.6% of the vote and will return to the ballot next year.
