A comprehensive win for the Dodgers as Andy Pages and Emmet Sheehan carried the load in this 7-0 defeat of the Reds, taking advantage of the Padres’ loss to open up a one-game lead in a tight NL West race.

The second half hasn’t been too kind to Pages, which helps explain him batting eighth against one of the toughest right-handed starters in the big leagues. At least for one game, though, Pages showed why he has a .933 OPS at home, helping Los Angeles break through against Hunter Greene with a couple of homers against the Reds’ ace.
