LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Athletics will host a week of regular-season games at Las Vegas Ballpark next year, the team announced Tuesday.

Three games will be played against the Milwaukee Brewers from June 8-10, and three against the Colorado Rockies from June 12-14. Game times have not been determined yet.

The A’s have regularly played spring training games at Las Vegas Ballpark, part of Big League Weekend, but these will be their first regular-season games in Las Vegas since announcing plans to relocate to the city.

Construction began for a new baseball stadium on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue earlier this year. Team officials say the stadium is on track to open in time for the 2028 season.

In the interim, the A’s are playing home games at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, California, home to the San Francisco Giants’ Triple-A affiliate Sacramento River Cats.

Las Vegas Ballpark is home to the A’s Triple-A affiliate Las Vegas Aviators.

This will be the second time in the franchise history that the A’s spend a brief stint in Las Vegas. The team played their first six home games at Cashman Field in 1996 while the Oakland Coliseum was undergoing renovations.
