The Phillies will open the 2026 season at home against Texas, the club announced on Tuesday, with two long stretches away from home in the middle of the season.

The Phillies will welcome Texas to Citizens Bank Park on March 26, then follow that with a series against the Nationals. Their first road trip takes them to Colorado and San Francisco.

The Phillies have just four home games over nearly a month from June 22 to July 17. That accommodates the six matches in the FIFA World Cup that Lincoln Financial Field will host and preparation for Citizen Bank Park’s first All-Star Game.

The first World Cup match is June 14, when the Phillies are in Milwaukee. They return home for three games against Miami and three against the New York Mets, with an unusual Friday off day on June 19, the date of the second World Cup match.

The lone games played at home for the following four weeks will come June 29-July 2, a four-game set against Pittsburgh. The Phillies longest road trip of the season is a nine-game swing through Kansas City, Cincinnati and Detroit from July 4 (when a World Cup Round of 16 affair ends Philly’s hosting of the tournament) to July 12. That run starts with a wraparound series in Kansas City from Saturday-Monday.

That trip allows preparation of Citizens Bank Park to host the July 14 All-Star Game. The Phillies start the second half with a nine-game homestand against big-ticket opponents the Mets, Dodgers and Yankees.

The Phillies will play the Minnesota Twins in a three-game series from Aug. 14-16. Those are the reported teams for the 2026 Field of Dreams game in Iowa, but neither MLB nor either team has confirmed their participation in the game.

The Phillies end the season with six at home, welcoming Milwaukee and then Tampa Bay to town. It’s the second straight year and third in the last five that the Phillies will end with American League opposition. September is heavy on division opponents, though, with six against the Braves and trips to Washington and New York to face the Mets.
