The Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles continue their four-game series tonight at Camden Yards after Boston took last night’s opener, 4–3.

The Red Sox were powered by two home runs: a solo shot by rookie Roman Anthony in the first inning and a three-run blast from Jarren Duran in the fifth that proved to be the difference.

Boston used an opener in Game 1, but tonight, they turn to a true starter in Lucas Giolito. The veteran right-hander is 8–2 with a 3.72 ERA, mixing excellent outings with some shakier ones.

Earlier this month, he held the Houston Astros to one run over eight innings, only to allow four runs in 4.2 innings against the San Diego Padres in his next start. He has faced Baltimore once this year, tossing seven scoreless innings.

The Orioles sends Kyle Bradish to the mound. He’s making his first start of the season after Tommy John surgery. Bradish was outstanding in 2023, posting a 12–7 record and 2.83 ERA.

In six rehab starts, he carried a 4.91 ERA but showed his velocity is back at pre-surgery levels.
